京都の名門IB校 KISとMOUを締結。京都・高槻エリアの進学ルートを強化2026.05.15 UPDATE

2026年5月15日、キンダーキッズ株式会社（本社：大阪府、以下「キンダーキッズ」）と、京都府内で国際バカロレア（IB）のフルプログラム（初等・中等・高等教育）を提供する名門京都インターナショナルスクール（以下「KIS」）は、教育連携に関する基本合意書（MOU）を締結いたしました。
本提携では、KISと、キンダーキッズの京都校および高槻校が相互に「優先教育パートナー（Preferred Education Partners）」として認定いたしました。1957年の創立以来、地域において高い信頼と長い歴史を持ち、2026年3月には京都大学ともMOUを締結するなど、国際的な学術・教育拠点として存在感を高めるKISと、幼児教育から中等・高等教育、そして大学進学へとつながる一貫したグローバル教育の実現を目指し、教職員の交流や教育カリキュラムの相互理解を深めてまいります。
調印式および撮影セッションは、キンダーキッズを代表してExecutive Director & CFOのクライブ・ウォーンズ（Clive Warnes）、およびKISのマット・トップリス（Matt Topliss）校長の両名によって執り行われ、和やかな雰囲気の中で固い握手が交わされました。
本提携により、キンダーキッズ京都校・高槻校で培われた豊かな探究心や英語コミュニケーション力を、KISが提供する国際基準のIB一貫カリキュラムへとスムーズに接続。卒園後から18歳まで、子どもたちが慣れ親しんだ京都・高槻エリアで、個性を活かしながら国際社会を牽引する次世代リーダーの育成に貢献してまいります。 京都エリアから地域と世界を繋ぐ先進的な教育モデルを発信し、日本の教育環境の底上げを目指してまいります。

Title: Kinder Kids Partners with Renowned IB School KIS, Strengthening Educational Pathways in Kyoto and Takatsuki Areas　

On May 15, 2026, Kinder Kids Inc. (Headquarters: Osaka; hereinafter “Kinder Kids”), operator of one of Japan's largest international preschool networks, and Kyoto International School (hereinafter “KIS”), a prestigious school providing a complete International Baccalaureate (IB) program across all academic levels (Primary, Middle, and High School) in Kyoto Prefecture, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for an educational partnership.
Through this partnership, KIS and the Kinder Kids Kyoto and Takatsuki schools have officially recognized each other as "Preferred Education Partners." Sharing a strong foundation of trust and history in the community since 1957—and having recently signed an MOU with Kyoto University in March 2026 to expand international academic opportunities—KIS and Kinder Kids aim to realize a seamless global education spanning from early childhood through to university entrance by deepening faculty exchange and mutual understanding of their respective curricula.
The official signing ceremony and photoshoot session were successfully conducted by Clive Warnes, Executive Director & CFO, representing Kinder Kids, alongside Matt Topliss, Principal of KIS, in a warm and collaborative atmosphere sealed with a firm handshake. Through this partnership, the rich inquiry-based learning habits and English communication skills cultivated at Kinder Kids Kyoto and Takatsuki schools will be smoothly connected to the international-standard IB curriculum provided by KIS. By offering a continuous educational path leading up to age 18 within the familiar Kyoto and Takatsuki area, we will contribute to nurturing the next generation of global leaders who can maximize their individual potential. We aim to elevate the overall educational environment in Japan by sharing this advanced integrated educational model that bridges local communities and the wider world from the Kyoto area.
